This little journal holds my little ol' thoughts! I don't always have time to write in it, but I try! My Grandma Lucette wrote in her journal everyday! My Grandma Beverly said, "Diaries are for good girls".She of course doesn't keep one!

Anyone that knows me well thinks I hate birds! It is not that hate birds, it is that they make me nervous when they get TOO CLOSE! I love to hear them chirp, and I wish them no harm, I like to take pictures of them, AT A DISTANCE!
It's a song by George and Ira Gershwin, from 1937. "Let's Call the Whole Thing Off." (verse)Things have come to a pretty pass,Our romance is growing flat,For you like this and the other While I go for this and that.Goodness knows what the end will be;Oh, I don't know where I'm at...It looks as if we two will never be one,Something must be done. (refrain)You say eether and I say eyether,You say neether and I say nyther;Eether, eyether, neether, nyther,Let's call the whole thing off!You like potato and I like potahto,You like tomato and I like tomahto;Potato, potahto, tomato, tomahto!Let's call the whole thing off!But oh! If we call the whole thing off,Then we must part. And oh! If we ever part,Then that might break my heart! So, if you like pajamas and I like pajahmas,I'll wear pajamas and give up pajahmas. For we know we need each other,So we better call the calling off off.Let's call the whole thing off!
I think that I shall never see A poem lovely as a tree.A tree whose hungry mouth is prest Against the earth's sweet flowing breast;A tree that looks at God all day And lifts her leafy arms to pray;A tree that may in Summer wear A nest of robins in her hair;Upon whose bosom snow has lain;Who intimately lives with rain.Poems are made by fools like me,But only God can make a tree.~Joyce Kilmer, "Trees," 1914

Kyle landed on his hand with his spikes at his track meet last night! He got four stitches! He has had to get staples when he was younger, but not stitches, so I had to document this with pictures and a blog post, LOL. Love ya Kyle!
